Simulation as a social event: Stepping back, thinking about fundamental assumptions
Publikation: Bidrag til bog/antologi/rapport › Bidrag til bog/antologi › Forskning › fagfællebedømt
Simulation as a social event brings together people, physical elements, and social rules. The interplay between these elements can be labeled as a social practice. In this chapter, we provide examples of simulation as social practice and then step back to discuss general features of social practices and how they relate to simulation in health care. By conceptualizing simulation in this way, the goal orientation of simulation can be improved, as more of the relevant dynamics can be described.
