I am a postdoc in the Section of Epidemiology at the Department of Global Health. I am interested in using stochastic processes and other mathematical tools to model infectious disease outbreaks and viral evolution. In particular, I am interested in understanding problems related to the emergence and growth of novel pathogenic strains.
