I am a PhD Student in Clinical-Health Psychology. The primary goal of my PhD project is to make a model for strengthening peer support groups as agents in the prevention of HIV in Indonesia and Denmark. Indonesia and Denmark are still trying to control the spread of HIV. Improving the quality of life for people living with HIV and preventing discrimination is the Indonesia and Danish government's HIV Action Plan.

I will conduct two studies during my project. Firstly, I want to assess the relationship of health-mental health literacy and HIV stigma to quality of life and risk behavior. Researchers use a mixed-methods approach to understand people living with HIV's body awareness and perception of not spreading HIV through sexual relations. Secondly, I will used the findings from Study 1 to understand the cognitive processes and behavioral patterns of an HIV companion to not spread HIV through sexual intercourse amidst negative stigma about HIV. Next, I will create a program to prevent HIV using the quality of life and risky behavior framework.
